Last Rites For Mrs. Sina Wasson Sholars June 16

Funeral services for Mrs. Sina Wasson Sholars, 87, former resident of Winn
Parish, were held Sunday, June 16, at 3 p.m. at Siloam Baptist Church in
Gansville.  Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Sholars, who was a sister in law to Louis Sholars and the late Bryan
Sholars of Winnfield, died Saturday in a Monroe hospital after a lengthy
illness.

Survivors include a son, J. W. Sholars of Shreveport, formerly of Winn Parish;
five daughters, Mrs. E. R. Autrey, Texarkana, Ark., Mrs. F. P. Wisdom, Baton
Rouge, Mrs. Lonnie L. Davis, Ruston, Mrs. W. O. Edwards, Marshall, Texas, and
Mrs. Varsh Otwell, Wilmot, Arkansas, 16 grandchildren and 27 great
grandchildren.
