Mrs. Singleton Succumbs; Rites Thursday

Mrs. Edna Mae Singleton, 57, died late Friday, October 1, 1971 at her
residence in Winnfield following a short illness.

Mrs. Singleton, a native of Jackson Parish, was a retired nurse's aide.  She
was a member of the East Winnfield Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Southern Funeral Home
Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Yocum officiating.  Burial was in Castor Cemetery.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Joe Dale Smalley, of Van Buren, Mo., and
one grandchild.
