Mother Of Mrs. Tom Henderson Buried Sept. 10

Funeral rites for Mrs. Mary Singletary, 88, of Winnfield, who died at 4 a.m.
Friday, September 9, 1966, in the Baptist Hospital in Alexandria, were held at
11 a.m. Saturday in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel.  Mr. E. D. Todd of the
Winnfield Church of Christ and Mr. Hall of the Dodson Church of Christ
officiated.

Burial was in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Vernon Parish.

Mrs. Singletary was a native of Rapides Parish but had lived in Winnfield for
many years.  She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Tom Henderson of Winnfield and Mrs. Lee
Fogleman of Pineville; one son, A. J. Singletary of Shreveport; 19
grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.

Pallbearers at the cemetery were grandsons.
