Funeral Rites For Mrs. Barbara Sisson Held

Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Crooks Sisson, 61, were held at 3 p.m.
Sunday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home with Rev. Harrison
Cockerham and Rev. Earl George officiating.

Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.  Mrs. Sisson died Friday,
August 25, 1967 after a brief illness.  She was a native of Avoyelles Parish
and a member of the First Baptist Church of Winnfield.

Survivors are her husband; a son, Johnny Crooks of Shreveport; two brothers,
H. D. Miller, both of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Susie Long of Unityville,
Penn., and Mrs. Ella Snody of Olla.

Pallbearers were Homer Snody, Jerald Crooks, Norman Smith, Muril Snody,
Raymond Dubois, Jerry Crooks, James Thomas, and Denver Fox.
