E. H. Skains Dies Tuesday; Survived By Wife, Children

Eddy Howard Skains, 35, died at his home here Tuesday, February 18, at 2:25
o'clock. He was born in Union Parish but has been a resident of Winnfield
practically all his life.

In 1918 he married Ruth Hogan of Lincoln Parish, who survives him.

Besides Mrs. Skains, he is survived by three children, Mary Nell, Ricard
Wayne, and Howard, his father, W. P. Skains, and six brothers, R. D. Skains,
Luther Skains, Eugene Skains, Vesta Skains, and Byron Skains, all of
Winnfield, and Pink Skains of Jonesville.

Interment was made in the Winnfield Cemetery Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock
after services held at the Baptist Church by Rev. A. H. Cullen.
