Death Claims Terri Skains In Colorado

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 17, for Teresa Ann Skains, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. William Skains of Monte Vista, Colorado.  Terri was 15 years old
and she died Friday at her home after a lengthy illness.

Don Bleyle officiated at services held in United Methodist Church.  Burial was
at the Monte Vista Cemetery.

Surviving Terri are her parents, and a brother, William Phil Skains, a sister,
Sandra Lee Skains, her grandmother on her mother's side, Mrs. Margaret
Berdahl, Corvallis, Ore., and her grandfather on her father's side, Luther D.
Skains of Winnfield, La.

Terri was active in her church, the Girls Scouts, Order of Rainbow for Girls,
Chapter 23, the 4-H Ski Program, and the Rock Club.

Contributions can be made in Terri's name to Children's Hospital in Denver.
