Willie S. Slay, Georgetown, Succumbs At 75

Willie "Bill" Sidney Slay, 75, of Georgetown, died at 9:30 a.m. Monday, July
17, 1972 in his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Claudie Waites Slay of Georgetown; and seven
sisters, Mrs. Ola Smith and Mrs. Delpha Ludvik, both of Deville, Mrs. Connie
Rush of Pineville, Mrs. Doris Curtis and Mrs. Lillie Luneau, both of
Alexandria, Mrs. Lura Stockstill of Picayune, Miss., and Mrs. Ferol Zerkowsky
of Slidell.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hixson Brothers Chapel,
Pineville, with Revs. W. O. Busby and Oscar Bradford officiating.  Burial was
in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
