THE WINNFIELD-NEWS AMERICAN Friday, June 17, 1938 Steth McLamore of Wheeling Dies On Wednesday, June 8 Steth McLamore, age 77, died at the home of his son at Wheeling Wednesday night following an illness of several months. Funeral services were held the following Saturday conducted by the Rev. J. A. Jones of Wheeling assisted by the Rev. G. A. McVey of Couley and interment was in the Mt. Zion cemetery. Mr. McLamore was a life-long resident of Winn parish, a progressive farmer, and active in civic and religious affairs of his community. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Gussie Watson, Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Gertie Fowler, Wheeling, Mrs. Olean Smith, Houston, Texas, three sons, S. J. and J. T. McLamore of Wheelng and Aubrey McLamore of Atlanta, and a host of other relatives.
