H. Smith, Long Time Winnfield Barber, Succumbs R. H. "Bob" Smith, 80, who came to Winnfield in 1905 as a barber for the shop of the late S. J. Taylor, died in a Pineville April 2 at 8 p.m. after a short illness. He was a native of Lincoln Parish. Funeral services were conducted at the chapel of Southern Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. C. C. Martin officiating. Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Acting as pallbearers were G. M. Collins, Willie Burnum, John Bassett, Oscar Long, Jim Long, and M. C. Bain. Surviving are two sons, Grady Smith, Oregon, and Bobby Smith, New York; one daughter, Delta Smith, California; two stepsons, Edgar and C. L. Frazier, Winnfield; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Hazel Bell, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Louise Jaggers, Bauxite, Ark.
