Clyde Smith, Jr.

Services for Clyde Smith, Jr. were held at 10:00 a.m Saturday in the chapel of
Southern with Dr. Calvin Phelps officiating.  Burial was in Garden of
Memories. 

Smith, 58, of Winnfield died Thursday, December 22, 1988 in his home.

He was a member of First Baptist Church and past president of the Winn Parish
School Board.

He was a Shriner and 32nd degree Mason.  He was in the Louisiana National
Guard for 17 years.  He was past master of Eastern Star Lodge No. 151, F. & A.
M. and past master of Calvin Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Ann Dietrich of Zachary and Connie
Dubois of Houston, Texas; his parents, Clyde and Christine Smith of Winnfield;
one brother, Charles Smith of Winnfield; and four grandchildren.
