All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: May 6, 1938 Winn Parish Enterprise or Winnfield News-American Funeral Services For Mrs. Ida Smith Held Wednesday Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Goff Smith, wife of Pat Smith, who died Tuesday morning, were held Wednesday afternoon at two-thirty o'clock at the family residence here and interment was in the Corinth Cemetery, six miles south of Winnfield, Rev. G. A. Morgan, pastor of the First Methodist Church and Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church conducted the services. Mrs. Smith had been ill for several months. She held membership in the Baptist Church since early childhood. Surviving her are her husband, Pat Smith, five sons, Arnold, Billy, James, Norwood, and Huey Smith, three sisters, Mrs. Laura Cannon, Mrs. Macy Cannon, and Mrs. Mary Branton, three brothers, Charlie Goff, Acy Goff, and Cornelius Goff, all of Alexandria.
