She had been a resident of Winnfield most of her life but was a native of Lincoln Parish. Last rites were conducted at the Laurel Heights Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Monday, March 6, with the pastor, Rev. C. C. Martin and the Rev. R. W. Gage, Presbyterian minister, officiating. Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Acting as pallbearers were R. E. Howard, Breard Carpenter, J. F. Lovell, Jr., John Steen, L. C. Carter, and Lewis Jenkins. Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Robert H. "Bob" Smith, Winnfield; two sons, Edgar and C. L. Frazier, Winnfield; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Bell, aton Rouge, and Mrs. Lois Jaggers, Bat____, Ark.; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; one brother, Tim Hardin of Ruston; two sisters, Mrs. Sam Wallace and Mrs. Henry Mays, both of Ruston.
