Grant Assessor Culp Smith Dies

J. Culp Smith, Grant Parish Assessor for 30 years, died at 3 a.m. Saturday in
an Alexandria hospital.  He was 59.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruby H. Smith of Georgetown; a brother, Don
Q. Smith of Sulphur; a sister, Mrs. Geraldine Pigott of Georgetown; his
mother, Mrs. Rose Smith of Georgetown; and one grandson.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Georgetown Baptist Church
with burial in the Greenwood Memorial Park.
