Dies While On Duck Hunt; Last Rites At Harmony Grove

Henry Y. Smith, 76, native of Sikes, and resident of Lake Arthur, died of a
heart attack November 1st while on a duck hunt.

Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church, Lake Arthur, Nov. 2,
with burial following in the Harmony Grove Cemetery, Gaars Mill.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillie Wells Smith, five sons, Rev.
Edward Smith, Winnfield, Walter Smith, Marion, La., Curtis and Roy of Lake
Arthur, Clyde of Houma; one daughter, Mrs. Permie Dark of Midway, Jackson
Parish; several grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
