Marshal Smith Dies; Rites Held Tuesday

Marshal Brown Smith, 66, of Winnfield, died Sunday, November 30, 1975 at 8:07
p.m. in a local hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alma Smith of Winnfield; three brothers,
Hardy H. Smith, Jr., P. K. Smith, and Clyde Smith, all of Winnfield, and four
sisters, Mrs. R. R. Long, Helen Clotile Smith, and Mrs. Vernita Moore, all of
Winnfield, and Mrs. John Hudnell of Bossier City.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home,
Winnfield, with Revs. W. R. Gage and Calvin Phelps officiating.  Burial was in
Garden of Memories Cemetery, Winnfield.

Pallbearers included Sammy Smith, James Hardy Smith, Perry Joe Smith, Clyde
Smith, Jr., Charles Smith, and C. R. Long.
