  Funeral Services For Samuel Smith Held August 13th
  
  Funeral services of Samuel N. Smith, age 65, of Tullos, who died at his
  home in Tullos Saturday, August 12 at 9:15 p.m. were held at the Pine
  Grove Church near Jena Sunday, August 13, with Rev. F. W. Hart of Tullos
  officiating. Interment took place at the Pine Grove cemetery and funeral
  arrangements were under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of
  Jena.
  
  Mr. Smith has resided in this section for some time and for many years has
  been employed at Tullos. He was a member of the Tullos Baptist church.
  
  Surviving are: Mrs. Ethel W. Smith of Tullos, wife; Woodrow S. Smith of
  Winnfield, W. W. Smith of New Orleans, sons; and Mrs. Ester Long of
  Winnfield, daughter; and many friends and relatives near Jena.
  
  Submitter's note: Woodrow W. is a mistake. His children were Samuel
  Norwood Smith, Willard White Smith and Easter Lea (Smith) Long.
