Smith, 58, of Winnfield, were held Monday at Corinth Tabernacle Cemetery near here with the Rev. Calvin Phelps officiating. Burial was under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Mr. Smith's body was found floating in Saline Lake Friday about one-fourth mile upstream from where his boat was found Dec. 7. He was last seen Dec. 5 and was reported missing from his home near Lyle's Camp on Saline Lake when a neighbor found his boat floating on the lake. Winn Parish authorities and volunteers searched the lake area with scuba divers from State Police Troop E in Alexandria Thursday and Friday until the body was found. Survivors include one brother, Billy Smith of Houston, Texas; four sons, Bo Smith, Bob Smith, Charles Smith, and Richard Smith, all of California; two daughters, Miss Diana Smith and Miss Joanna Smith, both of California.
