Mrs. Lora Smith

Services for Mrs. Lora Smith, 64, of Montgomery, were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday
in St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father J. C. Goins officiating.

Burial was in Colfax Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of
Winnfield.

Mrs. Smith died Friday, April 11, 1980 in L. S. U. Medical Center after a long
illness.

She was a recipient of the Devoted Service Award.

Survivors include her husband, Jerome Smith, Sr., of Montgomery; three sons,
Walter Smith of Gonzales, Jerome Smith, Jr., and Robert Smith, both of Bossier
City; two daughters, Mrs. Sandra Harlan of Boulder, Colo., and Mrs. Sidone
Nichols of Prairieville; five brothers, Curtis Duncan and R. M. Duncan, Jr.,
both of Boyce, and Woodrow Duncan, Huey Duncan, and Luther Duncan, all of
Alexandria; five sisters, Mrs. Louella Dale of Shreveport, Mrs. Mary Lutrell
and Mrs. Dorothy Baird, both of Alexandria; 13 grandchildren, and a great
grandchild.
