All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: January 18, 1962 Winn Parish Enterprise News-American Death Claims Wilson Harold Smith January 13 Wilson Harold Smith, 49, millwright for Tremont Lumber Company, died suddenly at his home in Winnfield January 13 at 5:30 p.m. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. January 15 at Hixson Brothers Chapel with Dr. W. L. Holcomb and Rev. C. C. Martin officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pineville. Acting as pallbearers were Doug Farmer, Alton Brister, Julian Long, J. F. Lovell, W. Shaw, and Clarence Jenkins. A native of Galveston, Texas, Mr. Smith spent his boyhood in Winnfield, but had lived a number of years in Pineville before returning to Winnfield to make his home about a year ago. He was the son of Mrs. George W. Taylor of 1105 E. Lafayette Street, Winnfield, and of the late J. E. Smith. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Etha Lou Smith, and five daughters, Betty Lynn, Margaret Ann, Patty Marie, Jane and Nancy; and his mother, all of Winnfield; two brothers, J. E. Smith of Bossier City and Frank Smith of Oxford, Ala.
