  Obituaries: Vernice Smith
  
  Services for Vernice Smith were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of
  Southern with the Revs. Vernon Watts and Lee J. Humphries officiating.
  Burial was in Garden of Memories.
  
  Mrs. Smith, 81, of Winnfield died Friday morning, June 22, 1990, in Humana
  Hospital.
  
  She was a member of the Episcopal Church and the Order of the Eastern
  Star, Lafayette.
