Last Rites Held For William Smith At Georgetown Aug. 31

William Smith, 63, of Georgetown, died August 30, 1947, at 3:30 a.m. in an
Alexandria hospital.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rose Smith, of
Georgetown; two sons, J. Culp Smith of Georgetown and Don Q. Smith of Vinton,
La.; one daughter, Mrs. B. G. Piggot of Queensberg, La.; two brothers, Bob
Smith of Foreman, Ark., and Wayne Jackson of Georgetown; two sisters, Mrs.
Margie Hopson of Foreman, Ark., and Mrs. Cecil Dupress of Atlanta, Ga.; and
three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, August 31, in Georgetown Baptist Church,
with interment in the Greenwood Memorial Park.
