William Carl Smith of Route 2, Atlanta, died at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 9,
1968 in Baptist Hospital in Alexandria after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. at Iatt Baptist Church with Rev. Deloy
Shows officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery.

Survivors are his widow, two sons, Willard Smith of Atlanta and Walter Smith
of Monroe; a daughter, Mrs. Beryl Bazen of New Orleans; four grandchildren and
two great grandchildren.
