Smith Held Friday Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl W. Smith, 76, were held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Yankee Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. D. W. McDaniel officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Mrs. Smith died Wednesday, November 29, 1967 in a Winnfield hospital after a brief illness. Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Brewton and Mrs. Lela Mae Moore, both of Goldonna, Mrs. Corease Powell and Mrs. Dorothy Hay, both of Bienville. Two stepchildren, Mrs. Frances Goodman of Pineville, Nathan Smith of Baton Rouge; one brother, Arthur Weeks of Jonesboro; six sisters, Mrs. Julia Sanders of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Ruby Parker, Mrs. Bessie Maxey, and Mrs. Carmon Irvin, all of Jonesboro, Mrs. Mae Hunt of Shreveport, and Mrs. Eva Walker of Goldonna; 20 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
