Funeral Services For Infant Held Friday

Funeral services for the three month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayland
Smith of Marion, La., were held in Hodge, Friday, January 31.  Alva Joy Smith
died in Monroe January 30.  Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Harris
of El Dorado, assisted by Rev. Patten of Monroe.

Besides the parents, little Alva Joy is survived by her grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. P. W. Smith of Sikes, and Mrs. and Mrs. A. J. Clayton of Jonesboro.
