Son of Darius Smith Succumbs; Buried Feb. 22

Ermon Smith, 55, died unexpectedly Wednesday in a Pineville hospital after a
long illness.  Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Feb. 22, at 2:30 p.m.
in Edmonds Chapel, Jonesboro, with Rev. J. D. Wagnon officiating.

Burial was in the Corinth Cemetery, Winn Parish, under direction of Edmonds
Funeral Home.

Mr. Smith is survived by his father, Darius Smith, Winnfield; one brother,
Noble Smith, Winnfield; five sisters, Mrs. Sam Collins and Mrs. Roscoe Bice,
Winnfield, Mrs. V. G. Adams Mrs. George Schmidt and Miss Lela Smith, all of
Hodge.
