Troy Smith's Mother Succumbs In Timpson, Texas

Mrs. J. L. Smith, 58, of Timpson, Texas, died at her home January 10, 1942. 
Funeral services were held January 11 in Timpson.  Mrs. Smith was the mother
of Troy Smith of Winnfield.

Other survivors include her husband; four daughters, Mrs. J. H. Powers,
Shreveport; Mrs. Sam Hendrick, Mrs. Delma Honeycutt, and Miss Lavelle Smith,
of Timpson, Texas; and four sons, Troy of Winnfield, Toy and Hardy of
Jonesboro, and Milton of Tullos, and eight grandchildren.

Attending the funeral with Mr. and Mrs. Troy Smith were Mr. and Mrs. Arnold
Bice of Natchitoches and Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Shows of Jonesboro.
