Negro Dies Of Heart Attack, Funeral Tues.

Funeral services for William Smith, 72 year old Negro citizen, were held
Tuesday at Morning Star Baptist Church.  He died Saturday of a heart attack.

Smith was smoking a pipe when stricken, and the pipe fell onto a bed where he
was lying, burning it slightly.  He was living with his daughter, Pearl
Trotter.

Survivors include six daughters, three sons, and a host of grandchildren and
great grandchildren.
