Mrs. Amanda Ann Tullos Sanders

Mrs. Amanda Ann Tullos Sanders, age 61, died at her home Monday morning,
December 5th, at 6 o'clock, after a week's illness.

Funeral services were held at the Sanders Graveyard on Wednesday morning, Rev.
Moreland Doughty officiating.  Music was furnished by the Tullos Church Choir.

Mrs. Sanders was born in Caldwell Parish June 22, 1866 but at a very early age
moved to Winn Parish where she made her home almost all her life.  When a
young woman she became a Christian and was united with the Baptist Church and
at the time of her death was a member of the Cross Roads Church.

At the age of twenty Mrs. Sanders was married to Elisha Calvin Sanders to
which union six children were born, five of whom survive.  Mrs. Sanders is
also survived by three children of Mr. Sanders by a former marriage, the
mother having died at an early age.  Mrs. Sanders was a mother in truth to
these children who mourn her passing.  They are: Lewis, Dellie, and Young
Sanders.  Mrs. Sanders' children are Mae Opal, Columbus, Perry, Newton Paul,
Lee Boyce, and Aubra Sanders.
