All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: June 11, 1959 Winn Parish Enterprise News-American Final Rites Held For Mrs. Snyder At Siloam June 9 Funeral services for Mrs. Dottie Snyder, 75 year old Winnfield resident, who died in a Shreveport hospital late Sunday after a long illness, were held Tuesday, June 9, at 2 p.m. at Southern Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. E. D. Roach, assisted by the Rev. C. C. Martin officiated. Burial was in the Siloam Cemetery near Wyatt, under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Acting as pallbearers were Glen Fogger, Lamar Berry, M. J. Berry, Buford Guilliams, Robert Morgan, and Bryant Howell. Mrs. Snyder was a native of Jackson Parish, but had lived most of her life in this area. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Keen, Winnfield; three brothers, Dan Howell, Winnfield, and Edgar and Willie Howell, both of Dodson; two sisters, Mrs. George White, Florien, and Mrs. C. Frazier, Winnfield; and three grandchildren.
