E. Sompayrac Funeral Services, Held Wednesday Funeral services for C. E. Sompayrac, age 76, who died in a Shreveport hospital, July 6, were held here Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 o'clock at the First Baptist Church. Rev. W. L. Holcomb conducted the services after which interment was in the Winnfield Cemetery. Mr. Sompayrac, a native of Clarence, Natchitoches Parish, had been in ill health for more than 20 of his 40 years local residence. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Edna A. Sompayrac, of Winnfield; one son, Edwin Sompayrac, Shreveport; three sisters, Misses Laura and Priscilla Sompayrac, and Mrs. Minnie Brezeale, Campti; three brothers, George Sompayrac, Campti, Det Sompayrac, Alexandria, and Arnold Sompayrac, Clarence. Pallbearers included Rudolph Foster, Charlie Ray, Ronnie Melton, Bobby Maxey, C. E. Sherwood, and Gerald Buckley.
