Charley Sookul, 62, Well-Known Local Resident Succumbs

Tailor and Locksmith Here For 25 years Is Buried Tuesday


Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Winnfield Cemetery for
Korinara (Charley) Sookul, 62, well known here for 25 years as a tailor,
gunsmith, and key maker.  Interment was under the direction of the Southern
Funeral Home.

Mr. Sookul, who was ill for only a few weeks prior to his death, died at 5
a.m. Friday.

He is survived by his wife, a brother, Andrew Sookul of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and
a sister, Mrs. Margaret Shoomer of Denver, Colo.

He was laid to rest beside his daughter, Aldonza Sookul, who was killed in an
automobile accident several years ago.
