E. J. Spangler, 62, Dies; Burial At Zion Hill

Ernest Jack Spangler, 62, of Winnfield, died Saturday, July 22, 1972 in
Glenwood Hospital. 

Funeral services were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Southern
Funeral Home of Winnfield with the Revs. Alson Jeter and E. B. Barton
officiating.

Burial was in Zion Hill Cemetery in Tannehill under the direction of Southern
Funeral Home.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Eva Perot Spangler of Winnfield; three sons,
Arvene Spangler of Monroe, Bill Spangler of Morgan City, and T. A. Spangler
of Singapore China; three daughters, Mrs. Erlene Forsythe, Mrs. Bobby Sue
Collum, and Mrs. Linda Fay Helmer, all of Oak Grove; and seven grandchildren.
