J. T. Spann, 78 Years, Succumbs January 22

J. T. Spann, 78 years of age, died at his home five miles south of Winnfield
Tuesday night January 22, 1935 at 6 p.m. following an illness of pneumonia. 
Funeral services were conducted Thursday at Manifest, La.

The deceased was born in Catahoula Parish, July 25, 1856.  He is survived by a
son, Walter Spann, and a daughter, Miss Lela Spann, both of Winnfield; one
half brother, S. N. Thomas of Winnfield, and one sister, Miss Ella Spann of
Los Angeles, Calif.
