Last Rites Held For Dessie Lee Speed In Winnfield Sunday

Funeral services for Miss Dessie Lee Speed, 20, who died in a Shreveport
hospital Saturday were held in the Winnfield Cemetery Sunday afternoon.  Elder
Neil H. Perdue and Elder Olan Johnson officiated.

Miss Speed was employed by the P. W. A. in the sewing room project.

Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Speed of Calvin; six sisters,
Nettie, Loretta, Myrtle, Hollis, Edith Nell, and Ruth Lynn; and four brothers,
Lawrence, James, Veldon, and Wallace.
