Last Rites For Mrs. S. P. Smith To Be At 11 A.M. Fri.

Funeral services for Mrs. Phearlean Lyles Smith, 93, who died at her home in
the Jordan Hill community at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, February 16, will be held at
11 a.m. Friday, February 17, at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will
follow in the Corinth Tabernacle Cemetery.  Rev. D. G. Boyett and Rev. Edward
Smith will officiate.

A native of Texas, Mrs. Smith had been a resident of Jordan Hill for about 75
years.  She was a member of the Big Creek Baptist Church and was the widow
of the late S. P. Smith.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Sam Rosier and Mrs. Jeff Jordan; four sons,
J. H. Smith, Floyd Smith, Odis Smith, and Marion Smith, all of Route Two,
Winnfield; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
