Mrs. L. J. Spikes Buried At Sardis Monday, Oct. 17th

Funeral services for Mrs. L. J. Spikes, who died at her home near Sardis
Sunday, October 16th, were held at Sardis, Monday, with the Rev. Sherwood in
charge.

Mrs. Spikes was born February 6, 1864.  She is survived by her husband, L. J.
Spikes, and four children: W. N. Spikes, Mrs. J. Ed. Woodard, Mrs. Bunion
Smith, and Miss Lula Spikes.
