P. Spillers and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Spillers of Atlanta, died suddenly in a Chicago hospital Friday, October 17, 1952. Funeral services were held at Mt. Zion at 3 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Earnest Walker, pastor of the Atlanta Baptist Church, officiating, assisted by the Rev. L. B. Williams. A graduate of the Atlanta High School, the deceased also had attended school in Chicago and had been employed there and in Houston, Texas. She is survived by her parents; a sister, Mrs. Beverley Phipps of Houston; two brothers, Allen Spillers of Baytown, Texas and Billy Spillers of Atlanta; a sister, Rita Spillers of Atlanta, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Spillers.
