Last Rites For Mrs. Pearl Spikes Held Tuesday

Mrs. Pearl A. Spikes, 50, died Monday, May 17, in a Winnfield hospital after
a long illness.  She was a resident of Atlanta.

Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Sardis Baptist Church with
Rev. Ray Teal officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery under direction
of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Survivors are her husband, C. O. Spikes; a daughter, Judy Marie Spikes of
Atlanta; a brother, Ross Wallace of Atlanta; two sisters, Mrs. Lola Head of
Ida and Mrs. Julia Saffa of Shreveport.
