Zion Church. She died Friday, October 17, in Chicago, Ill, where she had been employed for about one month. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Spillers of Atlanta, she was a graduate of Atlanta High School. Until moving to Chicago recently, she had been employed with a Houston, Texas finance company. She died of a heart ailment caused by rheumatic fever. Services at Mt. Zion were conducted by Rev. Walker of the Atlanta Baptist Church and Rev. Louis B. Williams. Survivors are her parents, W. P. Spillers and Mrs. Ruth Spillers, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Spillers of Atlanta; two sisters, Mrs. Beverley Phipps of Houston, Texas and Rita Spillers of Chicago; two brothers, Allen of Baytown, Texas and Billy of Chicago; and several aunts, uncles, and other relatives. Pallbearers were her classmates of the Atlanta school.
