Arthur W. Stacks

Graveside services for Arthur W. Stacks were held at noon Wednesday in Forest
Lawn Memorial Park, Pineville, with Rev. Jim Spencer officiating.  Burial was
under direction of Hixson, Pineville.

Stacks, 79, of Pineville, died at 2 a.m. Monday, March 4, 1985 in his
residence.

Stacks was a native of Winnfield and was a retired U. S. Postal Inspector.  He
was a World War II veteran and a member of the Elks.

Survivors include one son, Robert W. Stacks of Lawton, Okla.; one daughter,
Dorothy Watson, of Alvin, Ill.; two brothers, Herman O. Stacks and Perry A.
Stacks, both of Shreveport; one sister, Evelyn Pinnix of Shreveport; five
grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
