Funeral Rites For George W. Stanfill Held

George W. Stanfill, 60, of Joyce, died at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 1968 in
his home after a long illness.

He was an employee of the Tremont Lumber Co. at Joyce.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. George Stanfill of Joyce; one son, Lyndell
Stanfill, Winnfield; two daughters, Mrs. Janice Royal, Winnfield and
Mrs. Dorothy Jean Hon, Michigan; and one brother, Delmer Stanfill, Winnfield.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Laurel Heights Baptist
Church with the Revs. C. C. Martin and Richard DeBusk officiating.  Burial
was in the Hebron Cemetery at Dry Prong under the direction of Southern
Funeral Home of Winnfield.
