Stewart Earnest H. Stewart of Dodson, La., expired in a Shreveport hospital at 6:30 a.m. May 6, 1961. Mr. Stewart was 61 years of age. He died of lung cancer and had been ill for several weeks. Funeral services were held at New Hope Church Sunday May 7, at 4:00 p.m. Rev. Grafton Shaw officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery with Edmond's Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Stewart is survived by three brothers and one sister, W. A. Stewart of Jonesboro; V. R. and Leamon Stewart, Dodson; and Mrs. H. C. Jenkins, Natalbany, La. Pallbearers were J. C. Rieson, Wilfred Jennings, Guy Berry, Myron Mooney, Cecil Caskey and Grover Jeter. Attend Funeral of Earnest H. Stewart Out-of-town relatives and friends attending the funeral services for Earnest H.
