H. Steen Of Olla Is Buried Tuesday, July 25 Funeral services for Mrs. J. H. Steen, 74, of Olla were held Tuesday, July 25, in the Olla Baptist Church with Rev. Doris Dearmon and the Rev. B. B. Cox officiating. Burial was in the Harris Chapel Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Mrs. Steen was a native of Caldwell Parish but had lived in Winnfield for many years where she was a member of the Laurel Heights Baptist Church. When her husband retired from the T. & G. Railway about four years ago they moved to Olla to reside. She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. C. L. Frazier, of Winnfield and Mrs. N. E. Stott of Olla; a son, J. T. Steen of Olla; three brothers, T. R. Martin of Henderson, Texas; B. M. Martin of Kelly and Elijah Martin of Clarks; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Gordon Cotten, Jack Colvin, A. R. Lemons, Muriel Snody, Aaron Gough, and Melton Gough.
