Funeral Rites For Mrs. Mollie Stephens Held

Mollie Melton Stephens, 81, a Packton housewife, died at 10 a.m. Friday,
October 7, 1966 in a Pineville hospital.  She was a native of Winn Parish and
a member of the Baptist Church.

funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, at the Southern Funeral Home
Chapel in Winnfield, Dr. W. L. Holcomb officiating.  Burial was in the Melton
Cemetery near Winnfield.

Survivors include one son, Nathan Stephens, Onward, Miss.; two daughters, Mrs.
Katherine Tullos, Pineville, and Mrs. Evelyn Foreman, Winnfield; one sister,
Ruby Charping, Vicksburg, Miss.; one brother, Walker Melton, Packton; two
grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
