William Stevenson Funeral Services To Be Held Friday

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. for William Stevenson, 90, who
passed away this morning in a Jonesboro hospital.  The Rev. Robert Gage will
officiate at the services at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.  Interment will
be at the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Henry Holstead, Herbert Gee, Ben Jackson, Charlie Taylor,
D. L. Hoffman, and Jess Corley.

There are no survivors.

Stevenson, who was born September 30, 1869, lived in Winnfield for many  
years.  During the latter part of his life he was retired, but formerly was
known in many places as a traveling key check man.
