Leamon Stewart Dies; Interment At New Hope

Leamon Loyd Stewart of Dodson, was found dead at his home Tuesday, January
11, 1972 by neighbors.  Approximate time of death was placed at around noon.

Husband of the late Mrs. Opal Payne Stewart, Mr. Stewart was a retired
construction worker, a member of the Dodson Methodist Church, a native of the
Hudson Community, and was a Mason.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Dodson Methodist Church with
the pastor, Rev. George Sherman, officiating.  Interment was in New Hope
Cemetery.

Survivors include a brother, Averett Stewart of Jonesboro; a sister of
Independence, La., and a number of nieces and nephews.
