Mrs. E. Stewart Dies; Burial At New Hope

Funeral rites for Mrs. Ellis Stewart, 52 year old Dodson woman who died
Sunday, October 1, 1967, in a Winnfield hospital after a long illness, were
held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the New Hope Methodist Church with Rev. Willie
Broadway officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of
Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

She was a lifelong resident of Winn Parish and a member of the Baptist Church.

She leaves her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Sherman LaFollette of Winnfield,
Miss Glenda and Miss Jimmy Jean Stewart of Monroe; one grandchild; one
brother, G. C. Cockerham of Dodson; one sister, Mrs. Nola Garrett of
Winnfield.
