Funeral Rites For Preston G. Stewart Held

Preston Guy Stewart, 67, of Dodson, died February 19, 1968 in a local nursing
home after a lengthy illness.

He was a lifelong resident of Winn Parish, a retired logger, and a member of
the Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held at New Hope Methodist Church Wednesday with Rev. E.
B. Barton officiating.  Interment was in New Hope Cemetery under direction of
Southern Funeral Home.

Survivors include his two daughters, Mrs. Mary Lou Liberty, Joliet, Ill., Mrs.
Lora Kincaid, West Monroe; two sons, James Stewart and Charles Stewart, both
of Joliet, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Maggie Brewer, Hudson community, Mrs.
Lottie King, West Monroe, and Mrs. Velma Evans, Atlanta; one brother, Ellis
Stewart of Hudson community and seven granchildren.
