Clifton Stewart, Jr.

Services for Clifton Stewart, Jr., 60, were held at 2 p.m. Friday at First
Baptist Church, Winnfield, with Dr. Calvin Phelps and Dr. W. L. Holcomb
officiating.

Burial was in Brown Cemetery, Winnfield, under direction of Southern Funeral
Home of Winnfield.

He died Wednesday, November 20, 1985, at his home after a sudden illness.

Mr. Stewart was a member of First Baptist Church, a veteran of World War II,
a Mason, a Shriner, and a member of the VFW.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Barton Stewart of Winnfield; two sons, Bart
Stewart of Jennings, and Bill Stewart of Natchitoches; one daughter, Mrs.
Susan Byrd of West Monroe; one brother, Bill Stewart of Vicksburg, Miss.; and
four grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Gregg Davies, Dan Page, Perry Joe Smith, Mike Smith, Jimmy
Howard, and Byron Tullos.
