W. Stewart of Dodson Funeral Services Held At New Hope Church Tuesday Robert William Stewart, age 60 years, 3 months, and 7 days, succumbed at his home in Dodson Monday following an illness of two year's duration. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. G. A. Morgan of Jonesboro officiating. Interment was in the New Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers were A. L. Mixon, L. L. Lee, F. D. Walker, J. H. Waters, I. M. Brown, and Bob Walker. Mr. Stewart was born in Columbus County, Arkansas. He moved to Winn Parish in 1888 and has resided in the Dodson area ever since. He was a member of a well known and esteemed family and had been affiliated with the Dodson Methodist Church for the past thirty years. Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Esther Mae Pepper and seven children as follows: Luther, Lonnie, Archie, Leon, Mrs. R. L. Daily, Matifay and Esther, of Dodson; three brothers, Thomas, Joe of Dodson, John of Winnfield; a sister Mrs. J. R. Berry of Dodson.
